Data & Account Deletion
Three levels of removal, from revoking a single Google connection to erasing your account. Each one is described exactly, including what survives and why.
1. Disconnect a Google Account (Immediate, Self-Serve)
This stops Aghrba SEO accessing Google Search Console or Google Analytics, and deletes the stored authorisation.
- Sign in to Aghrba SEO and open the site you want to change.
- Go to that site's integrations.
- Choose Disconnect next to Search Console or Analytics.
What happens immediately:
- We ask Google to revoke the access token, so the grant is withdrawn at Google's end too.
- The stored access and refresh tokens are deleted from our database.
- All scheduled syncs for that connection stop.
You can achieve the same from Google's side at any time by removing Aghrba SEO from your Google Account permissions page. Access ends the moment you do.
Disconnecting stops future access but keeps the performance history already retrieved, so your reports do not lose their past. To erase that history too, delete the site (section 2) or your account (section 3).
2. Delete a Site (Immediate, Self-Serve)
Deleting a site from your workspace permanently removes everything we hold about it. In the application, open the site's settings and choose Delete site.
This deletes:
- Google Search Console and Google Analytics tokens for that site.
- All Search Console performance records — queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position history.
- All Google Analytics metrics — sessions, users, page views, bounce rate, session duration and conversions.
- Keywords, plans, articles, audits, rank history and leads belonging to that site.
Content already published to your own website is not affected. It lives on your CMS and stays yours; remove it there if you want it gone.
3. Delete Your Account and Organisation
To erase your account entirely, email [email protected] from the address registered on the account, with the subject Account deletion request.
Please include:
- The email address on the account.
- The organisation or workspace name.
- Whether you want the whole organisation deleted or only your own user.
Timeline:
- Within 2 business days — we acknowledge your request and verify you control the account.
- Within 30 days of verification — deletion is complete and confirmed to you.
We recommend disconnecting your Google accounts first (section 1) so access ends immediately rather than at the end of processing.
4. What Is Deleted
- Your user profile, credentials and session data.
- Your organisation, its members' memberships, invitations and API keys.
- Every site in the organisation and all data listed in section 2, for each of them.
- All connected-service credentials, including Google OAuth tokens and CMS credentials.
5. What May Be Retained, and Why
- Billing, invoice and tax records — retained for the period applicable law requires. These contain transaction details, not your Google data.
- Security and audit logs — retained for a limited period for fraud prevention and abuse investigation, then deleted on the normal log rotation cycle.
- Encrypted backups — deleted data can persist in routine database backups until those backups age out. It is not restored into the live system, and the backups are deleted on schedule.
- Content on your own website — we cannot remove pages from a CMS we no longer have access to. Delete them in your CMS.
No Google Search Console or Google Analytics data is retained in the live system after deletion.
6. Other Data Rights
You can also request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or restriction of processing. Email [email protected]; we respond within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the full description of your rights.
